Hello Kate

This is Joris. I’m on a Green Sense Tour. On this tour I'm travelling for 10 months, meeting with green changemakers and most importantly helping sustainable entrepreneurs. I’ve decided to go on this Tour to realize my mission: set up a sustainable business. By meeting with, talking to and working for green entrepreneurs, I gain precious experience for my own business.

I’m conducting this Green Sense Tour with support of MakeSense, a powerful community of over 800 young change makers around the world who are passionate about helping social entrepreneurs. MakeSense gives me a tool to help sustainable entrepreneurs in the form of a workshop which tackles a challenge an entrepreneur is facing.

So far I have been in Turkey and Morocco. In Turkey I helped Yesilist with its strategy and business model. In January, I was in Morocco to teach student entrepreneurs of Enactus about sustainable innovation.

I’m planning out my journey to West-Africa and I’m exploring different options where I could help sustainable entrepreneurs. I’m looking for a sustainable start-up/enterprise/organization in the field of sustainable building, renewable energy, waste management and sustainable tourism. Firstly I could help out by organizing a free MakeSense workshop. Another, longer term option is an offer with pro bono consultancy on strategy, human resources management, project management or operations management.

Daniel Duarte mentioned you are involved in Green Africa Directory, so perhaps you know any organizations in West-Africa which could use my help? I would be delighted if you would know any interesting sustainable start-up or organizations which could benefit from my offer.

 Warm greetings,

 Joris Depouillon
