In the recent years, efforts to support shifting consumption and production patterns into sustainable practices, has shown the relevance of considering individual lifestyles and actions towards behavioral change, aspirations and visions of the future to be built today.
In order to encourage multi-stakeholder collaborations and support organizations to foster more sustainable lifestyles through business and social innovations, the CSCP has launched the two networks with support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ):
The unique features and synergies between the networks are shown in the graph below.
Both networks were officially launched as parallel events of the UN Conference on Sustainable Development Rio+20.

This global network operates a global platform for enabling more sustainable lifestyles. By exploring real lifestyle needs, opportunities and values and sharing new stories of our sustainable future, visualizing possible futures, finding solutions, creating partnerships and leveraging innovations are crucial for understanding the challenges and opportunities the emerging future presents.
