Interview with Dick van Beers - Global Network Manager

               

Dick works as Senior Expert at the Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) in Wuppertal, Germany. He is the manager of the Global Network on Sustainable Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

The CSCP is an international 'think and do tank' in the field of sustainable consumption and production, and provides support to organizations in the public and private sector.
Dick's key expertise lies in sustainable production, including eco-innovation, business models, resource efficiency, and industrial ecology. In the past 15 years he worked with various sectors (e.g. manufacturing, service, ressource processing) in Asia, Europe, Africa, and Australia.
His contribution to scaling up business impacts on sustainable living is currently through this network. Dick is the project manager of the BISS project which assesses sustainable business models and scaling-up success factors.
